When it comes to the responsibility I think I could be ready for it. I'm already mature for my age and I know my goal and what I want. Also, with the support from my family and friends I think I will be okay. I'm actually kind of excited to do some things on my own because I feel like that will be a accomplishment for me. Although, I don't mean financially because my parents are going to help me out, I mean keeping everything in order and under control.
In order for me to get ready for this I need to start looking at my options realistically and making a legit plan to succeed. I will look for a job close to my school that pays more than minimum wage. I will also start applying for desired colleges with my best friend just so everything will be on the same page. Lastly, I will put $50 in a bank account for every paycheck I receive right now in order to get started.

That's good that you seem to have everything in control. Having a roommate seems to help out a lot, so that's a good financial support to have.
ReplyDeleteGood idea saving money and having a roommate, it takes a lot of the financial stress off. It's good that your looking at this from a positive and realistic standpoint.
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you feel responsible to go through college. Having the support of family and friends in my opinion is the best thing you can have and is the most important. Keep it up! I know you will go far in life!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have a pretty legit setup and support group. I'm sure the scholarships will help out a lot. Glad you have this all planned out now.
